1929-2024

Professor Beall taught printmaking at SFSU. He created the poster Happiness is a Warm Club, which inspired this project as well as many other pieces related to the campus strike of 1968 and 1969. He was named Professor Emeritus in 1992, and continued to show in galleries around the country and beyond until his death. Beall was a member of the California Society of Printmakers and served as its president in 1970.
